Busler Stills Ukraine offering specialized solutions for beer, spirit and beverage industrial-scale applications. We provide a range of fermenters, bioreactors, tanks, and supporting automation systems to meet diverse bioprocessing needs
Our Engineered-to-Application” approach to brewing and spirits fermentation involves the use [primarily] , disign, genetic modification of yeasts and other biotech tools to perform specific functions during fermentation, such as improving ethanol production, reducing unwanted by-products or creating specific flavor profiles, aroma compounds, and other desirable characteristics that are difficult to achieve with traditional brewing methods.
For centuries, traditional fermentation was limited to the production of common fermented food products using local wild-type producer microorganisms.
However, advances in food biotechnology have expanded the development of metabolic engineering at the systems level and paved the way for the emergence of the term ‘precision fermentation‘. Compared to traditional fermentation, it has the potential to produce high-quality ingredients more efficiently.
This approach allows for the targeted production of flavor compounds such as terpenes typically found in hops without the need for hops, leading to innovative beer styles, flavor control and potentially reduced reliance on traditional agriculture.
Busler Stills Ukraine offers a range of modules that help control variables and minimize inconsistencies from yeast / enzyme propagation to storage. Each control module ensures gentle and stable processing , resulting in constant maintenance of stable efficiency of subsequent fermentation:
Fermentation process of beer takes place in cylindrically-conical vessels, open stone or stainless steel vessels, to wooden vats. In primary fermentation a sugars won from the malt are converted into alcohol and carbon dioxide, and the product can be called beer. In secondary fermentation beer is naturaly carbonated in the maturation tanks in low temperature and under pressure. After this stage the beer is usualy ready to consuming.
Vessels used to ferment sugars in raw materials into alcohol for distillation, providing a controlled environment for yeast activity. It are featuring temperature control, agitation, and airlock systems to prevent contamination, made from non-reactive materials like stainless steel and require thorough cleaning between uses.
